These Castello di Amorosa engagement photos include sweeping castle views, vineyards, and just a hint of Game of Thrones vibes!!
Bay Area Engagement Photos
Diana and Edwin live in Southern California but flew into the Bay Area just so that they could take their engagement photos here. They described themselves as a laid back and casual couple in formal attire, which I think is a perfect description of them!! I think when you’re taking photos in front of a castle, it calls for a little bit of a dressier outfit than normal!! This winery is seriously such a unique place to visit and take photos!!
These blue hour photos are some of my favorite ever (ps- blue hour is the time after sunset!). We started outside of the castle and then weaved our way through the vineyards!! There are SO many places to take photos which makes it easy to get a variety of backgrounds and textures in just one shoot! We then crossed the bridge into the castle itself. You can access the second and third stories which allows you to get an incredible bird’s eye view of the surrounding mountains!
If you want a super unique look to your photos, I highly recommend Castello di Amorosa engagement photos. Just note that accessing this venue does require you to make a reservation ahead of time! Make sure to check that you have permission for professional photos to be taken and that there are no special events happening that day that you need to be aware of! This venue often hosts private parties so you want to make sure there aren’t any events that day that’ll prevent you from using most of the property!
Does this inspire you to take engagement photos here (or at a winery in general)?! Inquire below and let’s plan your dream session!!
